Ryan Sheaffer is a professional auctioneer, emcee, and Lieutenant with the City of Kirkland Fire Department. His career in the fire service began in 2012, and he gained national prominence in 2019 as an expert panel member on FOX Television's "First Responders Live." In 2020, Ryan and his fellow firefighters in Kirkland, Washington, were among the first medical personnel to see pandemic patients in the United States. Ryan represented his department in many media appearances, including interviews about Kirkland Fire Department's response to the pandemic on NBC, MSNBC, and FOX. He was also featured in a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation campaign, highlighting community efforts during the pandemic.
