I have an 8th grader at Madison and a 10th grader at West Seattle High School. I have proudly served on the Madison PTSA board for 4 years. I'm currently serving as acting president, but we are actively looking for a co-president for the 2025-2026 school year.
Megan is a proud Washington native and has resided in West Seattle since 2007. She served as the Legislative Chair for the Lafayette Elementary PTA and is excited to take up the same role at Madison. Meghan has a son in seventh grade and a daughter in eleventh grade at West Seattle High School. She loves books, crossword puzzles and being a soccer mom
I have 6th grader and a 7th grader at Madison this year. When I'm not working at my day job in commercial real estate, I spend most of my time driving carpool for various kid activities in and around West Seattle, with an occasional skiing or camping trip mixed in for fun. I believe that West Seattle is an incredibly special community, and I am excited to give back to Madison!
Kate has an 8th grader at Madison and loves the West Seattle Community. She's excited to see more of the behind-the-scenes work the PTSA is doing to help kids and staff at Madison. She has big hopes for a large and involved PTSA!

Janis is a mom to a 6th grader and 4th grader at Lafayette. She is excited to support the Madison music community having been a mediocre pianist since age 5 and fervent supporter of all things music. From checking out live gigs at Easy Street with the family, KEXP amplifier events, to nights at the Seattle Symphony, Janis looks forward to middle school concerts and supporting the next generation of musicians and music enthusiasts.
I originally hail from Nebraska by way of California. We have been dedicated West Seattleites since 2016. I have a sixth grader at Madison and twins in fourth grade at Genesee Hill. I am an in-house lawyer focusing on real estate transactions. I want to be part of the Madison PTSA board to support the teachers and students and focus on equity and inclusion. In my free time, I watch too much soccer, read not enough books, and go to too many concerts.

I have two 6th graders and one 8th grader at Madison. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, whether playing outside or attending various activities for kids. I serve as a BLT representative alongside two other parents, Brian Chung and Michelle Whelan. Together, we represent the parents and students at the school leadership team meetings. My specific focus is on ensuring the inclusion of all students here at Madison.
